HOW MANY GUEST ROOMS ARE AT THE SOMERSET HILLS HOTEL?

The Somerset Hills Hotel has 118 elegantly appointed guest rooms featuring one king or two queen size beds. We have various upgraded room types including a spacious room with two king beds and one king or two queen size beds with a balcony. We also have two suites to choose from depending on your length of stay and the occasion.

WHAT KIND OF SUITES DOES THE SOMERSET HILLS HOTEL HAVE?

We have 2 different suites for your consideration for your stay with us at The Somerset Hills Hotel. The following is a description of our suites and you can view photographs in our gallery.

Accessible Suite – One King One Bedroom Suite
In this suite, guests can take in the fresh views of our tranquil town. This exquisitely appointed guest suite features one king bedroom with a couch and additional seating area. For the business traveler, the suite includes extra space for meetings or entertaining. This suite does not have a large soaking tub and is a handicap accessible room.

Somerset Suite – One King Bed One Bedroom Suite
In this one-bedroom suite, guests can enjoy views of our tranquil backyard. There is extra space for entertaining and a large oversized bathroom to decompress from a long day of exploring. The suite does have a walk in shower and a large soaking tub with a his & hers sink and additional door for privacy.

DO YOUR ROOMS HAVE BALCONIES?

Yes, several of our rooms located on the 2nd floor do have balconies overlooking the front and back of the hotel. When selecting your room during the reservation process, the balcony options will be specified as well as a forest or town view.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE PROVIDED IN THE GUEST ROOMS AND SUITES?

Our rooms have modern comforts that you would expect including 55” LCD televisions, in-room Keurig coffee makers, Wi-Fi, flexible workspace, in room safe, hairdryer, and lit makeup mirrors.

DO YOUR ROOMS HAVE SHOWER OR BATHTUBS?

Our guest rooms mainly consist of walk-in showers with a small ledge/step into the shower. Various room types throughout the hotel do have soaking tubs. In addition, some of our ADA rooms have accessible tubs, which are non soaking.

DO YOUR ROOMS HAVE SAFES?

Yes, the guest rooms do have safes. They are drawer safes for which you create your own security code. The safes are approximately 12″ x 14″ — large enough to accommodate numerous electronic devices.

WHAT KIND OF PILLOWS ARE IN YOUR GUEST ROOMS?

Our pillows are made of a down feather mix. If you are allergic to feathers, please contact a guest service representative at 908-542-1111 and we can arrange for foam pillows in your guest room prior to your arrival.

DO YOUR GUEST ROOMS HAVE MICROWAVES OR REFRIGERATORS?

Our rooms do have mini refrigerators located within each and every room. However, we do not have any microwaves available within the guest rooms.

DO YOU HAVE CONNECTING ROOMS?

Yes, we have a variety of room types that connect to each other. This is based on hotel availability and is not guaranteed.

DO YOU HAVE ROOMS THAT ARE ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, we have a variety of rooms based on your needs for accessibility including roll-in showers, hearing impaired, and accessible tubs.

IS THE SOMERSET HILLS HOTEL PET FRIENDLY?

No, we are not pet friendly. However, we do accept service animals.

DO YOU PROVIDE CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN?

Yes, you can check-in with the Honors App using the Digital Key. Honors Membership are complimentary, and you can sign-up on Hilton.com.

I DID NOT RECEIVE MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL FOR MY STAY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please contact a Somerset Hills Hotel Guest Service Representative at 908-542-1111 and they can verify your upcoming stay with us and confirm your email address. If you are an Honors Member, you may look at your upcoming stay and see your future reservations.

DO YOU HAVE ONSITE PARKING?

Yes, our on-site parking is complimentary and self serve.

DO YOUR GUEST ROOMS HAVE WORK DESKS?

Our guest rooms are set-up with a flexible workspace which you can utilize for meals and work. Our suites have desks for individuals that desire a dedicated space.

ARE CRIBS, PACK-N-PLAYS OR ROLL-A-WAYS AVAILABLE?

Yes, they are available. Please call one of our guest service representatives at 908-542-1111 to make arrangements to have one placed in your room prior to arrival.

Does The Somerset Hills Hotel have restaurants onsite?

We have one on-site restaurant, TAP Gastropub. Visit our website at www.tapgastropub.com for more information. 

Do the restaurants have a dress code?

TAP Gastropub does not have a dress code.

Do I need reservations for TAP Gastropub?

At TAP Gastropub, we encourage reservations prior to arrival. For parties of more than 8 guests, please call in advance to possibly arrange for our private dining room within the restaurant. Please reach out to our team at 908-573-2173 to make your reservations or reserve your table online at www.tapgastropub.com

Where can I see the menu for TAP Gastropub?

You are able to visit the menus at www.tapgastropub.com. Please note that if you have dietary restrictions call to make reservations at 908-573-2173 and we will be happy to make arrangements for your dinner.

Does the menu offer gluten-free and vegetarian options?

Yes, our Chef offers a menu that is advantageous to all guests.

Does TAP Gastropub have outdoor dining options?

Yes, we have outdoor seating and dining options. Please call in advance for reservations. 

Do you have a kids menu?

Yes, we do offer an enhanced kids menu designed for a younger palate.

Do you offer room service?

We currently do not offer room service. But food can be ordered and picked up at our restaurant. 

Does The Somerset Hills Hotel have a bar or lounge?

Yes, we do have a bar located at the TAP Gastropub. The bar offers an extensive wine list, craft cocktails and up to 20 beers on draft.  The bar opens at 5pm daily and closes anywhere from  9pm 10pm

Do you have a gift shop on-property?

Yes, we have a small carefully curated space that contains local beverages and snacks to meet your last minute cravings. 

Is there shopping near The Somerset Hills Hotel?

The nearest shopping mall is located less than ten miles away at Bridgewater Commons.

How close is The Somerset Hills Hotel from the Newark Liberty International Airport?

We are 25 miles from the Newark International Airport (Code: EWR). The Newark International Airport offers many direct flights to major cities.

How do I get to The Somerset Hills Hotel from the Newark Liberty International Airport?

Directions

Travel southeast toward Express Road and use the left two lanes to merge onto Express Road. Travel 1.0 mile and use the right two lanes to turn slightly right onto the Turnpike North ramp to Interstate 78/Interstate 95/New York/Garden State Parkway. Travel 1.1 miles. Keep left at the fork in the road and follow signs for Interstate 78 West/Clinton/Garden State Parkway. Merge onto Interstate 78 West. Travel 22.2 miles to exit 33 for County Road 525/Martinsville toward Bernardsville. Turn right onto County Road 525/Liberty Corner Road. The hotel will be on the right.

Does The Somerset Hills Hotel offer electric vehicle charging stations?

At the moment we do not, however the nearest location is located at the Delta Hotel by Marriott less than half a mile away. 

How much should transportation generally cost for rideshare/taxi from the airport?

Typically, these costs may vary depending on the time of year, number of guests in the vehicle, and distance. For rideshare (Uber/Lyft), you should anticipate spending $60-$80 one way + gratuity. For a taxi, you should anticipate spending $80 one way + gratuity.

Is there a rental car facility near The Somerset Hills Hotel?

GENERAL

Who do I call for lost and found?

Please contact us and we will conduct a search for any lost items that may be missing. We keep all lost and found items for 90 days.

Does the hotel allow smoking on the premises?

No, we are a 100% smoke-free hotel and environment including our guest rooms, balconies, and outdoor patios.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Our check-in time is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. We certainly will do our best to provide early check-ins and late departures although this is based on availability and not guaranteed.

May I store my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

Yes, we do have luggage storage available for guests prior to check-in and afterwards at no additional charge.

IS THERE A COST FOR WI-FI?

No, internet is complimentary here at The Somerset Hills Hotel.

What is The Somerset Hills Hotel cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance prior to arrival unless specified differently on your reservation.

How can I modify my reservation?

Please call us at 908-542-1111 and speak to one of our guest service representatives. If you are an Honors Member you can modify your room reservation online.

Can I provide a different credit card at check-in than the one I used to make the reservation?

Yes, you may change the form of payment at the time of check-in with one of our guest service representatives Also, you may change the form of payment at check-out.

Will there be a hold placed on funds if I use a debit card for my stay?

Yes, we will place a hold on your card authorizing for your entire stay plus an additional $25 per day for incidentals. It can take up to 7-10 business days upon departure for the authorization to be returned to your bank account.

What is the minimum age for guests to stay at The Somerset Hills Hotel?

The minimum age for a guest to check-in is 21 years old.

Do children stay free?

Yes, children do stay free up to age 18.

Does The Somerset Hills Hotel have a fitness center?

Yes, our fitness center is located on the First Floor with 24-hour room key access. Fitness equipment includes free weights, treadmills, yoga mats, Peloton bicycles, and weightlifting machines.

Does The Somerset Hills Hotel have a pool?

Yes, we have a seasonal outdoor pool. 

BUSINESS

Are there meeting facilities onsite at SHH?

Yes, we have our Lafayette Ballroom which is 2652 square feet and is located right off the main lobby. Also, we Lighthorse boardroom that can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. We also have our Crossroads room which accommodates 65 people. All of our meeting rooms are located on the main lobby level. If you would like additional information, please contact ewrst-salesadm@hilton.com

What size groups can you accommodate at The SHH?

We can accommodate any size group from 10 guests to 185 depending on the setup requirements, type of event that you are hosting, and specifications required.

Can I bring my own audiovisual to my meeting at SHH?

Yes, we do allow this although we have and can provide the services onsite to make your meeting seamless with our preferred in-house audiovisual provider. 

Can I bring in my own food and beverage to my meeting room?

No, we do not allow for outside food and beverage. The only exception is the wedding and groom’s cake at a wedding reception.

Does The SHH offer business rates or negotiated room rates?

Yes, we do offer discounted room rates for businesses and would be pleased to discuss further based on the number of rooms needed and frequency. Please email ewrst-salesadm@hilton.com for additional information.

Does The SHH offer extended stay room rates?

Yes, we do offer discounted room rates for an extended stay, which is typically anything above 14+ nights. Please reach out directly to ewrst-salesadm@hilton.com for the time period you are requesting.

MEDIA

Do you allow photo and video shoots at The SHH?

Yes, however all filming and photography requests must be approved by the Public Relations department and supervised by a hotel PR representative. This includes all public areas and guest rooms. Working media is advised to please contact the Public Relations Department in advance of their stay to require clearance of professional photo/video equipment via ewrst-salesadm@hilton.com
